When do you recruit?
At the beginning of Fall and Winter Quarter. The process takes place over 2 weeks.
What do you look for in a candidate?
Candidates who are eager to learn and take initiative. Although we are a finance club, prior experience in the field is not necessary to be admitted. Leadership experience, outside projects, and team extracurriculars are emphasized.
How many candidates do you take per cycle?
Around 8 to 15 members are selectively chosen each quarter. This number is a guide and can fluctuate based on the applicant pool. If you are not chosen during your first cycle, don’t be discourage! Many of our members reapplied and were accepted later.
What does recruitment look like?
We host multiple events before our application is due in order to meet potential members. We highly emphasize the importance of demonstrating interest by attending. Our application is a resume drop with a few additional questions. Cover letters are optional but highly encouraged. Applicants will then be notified if they were accepted to move onto coffee chats. This round is a formal in-person group event consisting of professional and behavioral questions. The last round is a technical interview.
